R.Wilkes Transport Chesterfield pride themselves on the service provided to all clients since the business began in March 2005.
Having recently moved premises, the Company is aiming to grow the business, based on the quality and reputation of its transport, storage and recycling business.
The transport side can cater for any size of delivery from a parcel to an articulated lorry load, and to any destination in the world, although the UK is more the norm. We can deal with any type of haulage requirements you may have in the UK or abroad.
The Company has its own fleet of vehicles ranging from a berlingo van right up to 18 tonne lorries, with a mixture of box vans, curtainsiders and sprinter vans with specialist tail gates.
Anything above 18 tonnes is accommodated in partnership with other carriers.
All the companies’ vehicles are tracked and from the management system in the office we can see where any vehicle is, when the expected delivery will be made and what the state of the roads are like with traffic congestion, so we can re-route or re direct if necessary, but most importantly we can keep the client informed.
The company carry out planned deliveries to a date and time to suit the client, but are also able to arrange and deliver same day and next day at very short notice.
The Company will never turn a customer away, no matter how short the notice of the delivery.
The Company works 24/7 to meet all its clients’ needs and we can provide a bespoke service to any client, and also a dedicated delivery service, which means, not simply dropping the goods, but stripping down the pallets and packaging, placing goods into stores, and returning the pallets, polythene and cardboard boxes.
